    Barn Name - Tuva

    DOB - 19 June 2022

    Tuva is our first Suri. She is an intelligent, reserved animal who becomes much more curious as she warms up. She is very calm and is wonderful to take on walks. She acts as the matriarch, watching over the herd and being a full-time mom to Abby!

  • BHLF Noel

    DOB - 26 December 2022

    Noel is our resident princess. She is a funny, curious, outgoing (and occasionally stubborn) llama whose personality trumps her tiny size. She has gorgeous, silky Unicorn fiber and loves giving llama boops!

  • Abby

    DOB - 6 May 2024

    Abby is the first cria born on our farm! She is still pending her registered name. She is very sweet and curious. She enjoys running in her pastures and learning from the big girls about how to llama!

  • Titania of Dakota Ridge

    Barn Name - Annie

    DOB - 4 June 2023

    Annie looks like a small bear! She has massive feet and is super soft and puffy! She is a very patient llama and has a beautiful, natural presence.

    DOB - 10 July 2023

    Aris is a natural at trekking and we can not wait to see how she does when she begins pack training! This girl has a lot of spirit and is extremely intelligent. Her half-brother, Antares, also lives at Black Fern Farm!

    DOB - 7 Sep 2023

    Antares is Aris's half-brother! He's a shy, intelligent boy whose sweet personality has blossomed as he’s warmed up to his new home. Like his sister, he’s very athletic and we think he is going to have great stamina on treks. He loves playing with his best friend, Steve, and enjoys event marker training!

    Barn Name - Steve

    DOB - 6 September 2023

    Steve is our male Suri and absolutely incredible fiber which falls into ringlets. He is a very calm llama and enjoys being with his herd and going on walks. He and Antares were born one day apart and have been together their whole lives.

Alpacas

  • True Adonis

    Barn Name - Adonis

    DOB - 23 July 2020

    Adonis is a smart, tolerant alpaca that we identify as our ‘alpha’, meaning that he is always looking out for the safety of the male herd. He will make an alert call when he sees something that he perceives as dangerous (like a squirrel or deer) so the other boys pay attention. Despite being very reserved, he does have a silly side and is usually the first to run around in joy when let into his favorite pasture.

    DOB - 16 May 2020

    Brahms is our most brave and assertive alpaca. He is first to get in line for treats and will even tolerate some petting if he’s in the right mood!

  • Bronaldo

    DOB - 30 Jun 2020

    Bronaldo is our sweetest, silliest, and most outgoing alpaca. He loves treat training and is also huge [for an alpaca]. He likes to sniff people to say ‘hello’ and knows how to give kisses on command!

  • Maximum Raleigh

    Barn Name - Raleigh

    DOB - 23 June 2020

    Raleigh is a very shy, cautious alpaca. With that said, once he trusts you and lets you get close, it’s very rewarding! He loves to play and roll sticks around on his palette.
